You go nowhere by accident.

In a fragmented world that pulls us in opposing directions, Jesus invites us to discover God's presence and purpose in the everyday moments of our lives.  In this series we will explore the profound truth that God has intentionally placed each of us where we are — in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and relational networks — for a purpose.  We are not there by accident!

Discover how to embrace your place, your vocation, and the ordinary rhythms of life as opportunities to encounter God’s transformative power.  Learn to recognize God's voice, discern your calling, and collaborate with Christ’s mission of renewal in your everyday life.

You go nowhere by accident.  We say this each week at Nova Church, and we believe it!  Join us as we uncover the extraordinary potential within the ordinary and embrace God’s activity all around us.

“Embracing Collaboration”

Scripture: Luke 10:1-7

Speaker: Katie Fowler

You go nowhere by accident. Wherever you go, God is sending you. Wherever you are, God has put you there. The very Christ, who fills you, has something He wants to do through you, right where you are. Believe this. And go in God’s love, God’s grace, and God’s power. Amen.

These words of blessing were written by Richard C. Halverson, a Presbyterian pastor who served as the chaplain of the United States Senate from 1981 to 1995.  Nova Church speaks these words at the end of all our worship gatherings to remind us that each of us are sent by God to join Christ’s mission wherever we find ourselves in the week ahead.
