Our contemplative yoga classes are rooted in the way of Jesus. In a frantic, hurried culture, Jesus offers us rest and to embrace “the unforced rhythms of grace.” (Matthew 11:28-30, MSG)

Through our yoga classes, participants will be invited to participate in ancient Christian spiritual practices including contemplation, breath prayers, Scripture reading, and embodied ways of being present to God and oneself through yoga movements.

Join us for a unique yoga experience that blends movement, breath work, and Scripture meditation. Our Christ-centered classes create a peaceful space to quiet the mind, strengthen the body, and deepen your connection with God. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, come as you are—leave refreshed, renewed, and recentered in God’s presence.

Classes are hosted by Nova Church and led by a team of certified yoga instructors.

Classes are donation based (suggested donation of $5 per class).

Please bring your own mat or towel.

We want to acknowledge the history of yoga and that, as Western Christians, we are borrowing a practice that is not our own but originates in a different culture. Yoga developed in India thousands of years ago. It is a central part of many other religions traditions. As followers of Jesus, we want to incorporate the movements of yoga with practices from the way of Jesus like scripture meditation and breath prayers.
